This should not be an issue with BA as even hand baggage has a 23kg allowance, as long as it can be lifted into the overhead unaided.

Yes, I always use my IATA trolley on these flights and strictly observe the 8kg limit.
I really need to see the larger Rimowa Multiwheel in person to confirm its dimensions. Even then there is no guarantee that it will fit the BA baggage gauge due to the rounded corners of the gauge. So, ideally it would be a store in the airport that sells the bag and is willing to insert it into the gauge.
