If I were trying to get some sort of discount, that would be fair. I was solicited; not the other way around.
You seem very uncertain about this. If you're not sure you're getting a fair value - don't make the trade. UR points are much more valuable than MR points. Plus you risk Chase taking some action against you for transferring UR points to a non-spousal account.
