St. Martin, Grand Cayman, Anguilla and St. Barth's are well known for having the best food in the Caribbean. Grand Cayman even has a restaurant by Eric Ripert at the Ritz, famous for the the three Michelin stars Le Bernardin.

I have now been to two all inclusives in Mexico, one much more upscale than the other, but both five star resorts. When you have a lot of options for restaurants, you can generally find quite reasonable food at at least one of them. Being from New York, I don't go there expecting to be wowed by any of the cooking. After all, a full night with all three meals at an AI in Mexico costs as much as a dinner out in NYC!
