Sounds like a puff piece for the TSA, goodness. They insinuate the loss of the body scanner is a bad thing, and that they are forced to use patdowns (along with WTMD) to screen passengers. As if they didn't do any patdowns before. Typical scare tactic of telling the american public that if we can't do a body scan on you, we'll just have to give you a thorough patdown.

The article forgets to mention how much more efficient WTMD's are compared to body scanners. And... the wand? That has been discontinued for a while. Also, havn't most airports told passengers to arrive at least 90 minutes early for a while? That isn't new. How about they take some of the TSA clerks just standing around and put them on a WTMD and maybe people won't have to wait forever.
