You'll be pushing it. Remember, you'll need to go through security at JFK for your second flight so you'll need to return a bit earlier. Jackson Heights is close to LGA and it's not a quick travel via public transportation. Published Airtrain travel time is 10 minutes, and for the E train is 20 minutes. Published wait times for both can be up to 20 minutes. This could add up to an hour travel each way if there are delays.

Any considerations to make this trip should be via a taxi cab, and that's if the driver gets you there in the most direct route. I've heard of cab drivers taking the Belt to the BQE and exiting at the Roosevelt Avenue exit just to get to that destination for out-of-towners to earn an extra buck.
