The villas at the Conrad are great but there is no real kids club and at least the time we were there it was quite empty. So if you have children and like them to find playmates it is not that good a place.
Our 6 year old son enjoyed it regardless because he really liked the villa pool and we could have a glass of wine watching him.
He also did like the afternoon tea that came with the villa because of all the drinks he could order (he speaks Chinese and I don't so couldn't really check what he ordered except when my wife went with us ).
Interesting. I have two kids of similar age, and whilst they're not particularly social, they did really like the kids club activities when we were at the Conrad Maldives. I got the impression from the Conrad website that there is a kids club at Sanya, but even if not anything special, I understand that there is more at DoubleTree next door?

What month did you go, and how did you find the villa pool water temp, given that its unheated?
