I believe NZ removed the boarding pass printing equipment in SYD & MEL KCs a while ago. I don't recall whether this changed again when they changed the boarding pass types -- but certainly on SQ/NZ tickets where SQ couldn't issue the NZ boarding pass, in SYD and MEL I used to have to get the NZ transit desk or gate to print me a boarding pass because the Koru club could not.
