You would not have problems with most European airlines, Ryanair excluded. That is to say this applies today, and perhaps not in a year or so.
Problems with carry-on size can be avoided by taking a copy of your product brochure along with you, as they usually state if the product is IATA compliant. Given bin size, the two cases mentioned should be fine.
WEIGHT is more of a concern, and yes, some airlines are randomly checking weight. Observing this twice now at the boarding gate, I notice that those singled out for inspection appear to have a huge purse, bulky jacket or two, and attached shopping bags riding on the carry-on case.
At stops in Manaus, Brasil, everyone has been asked to de-plane in recent years, and have all bags inspected, checked included., even if enroute to another final destination. This is primarily for contraband, which is commendable and evidently effective according to news reports, but the huge amount of carry-on individuals take along with them is never an issue ( yet ).
A suggestion is that if you do not have your original Rimowa sales or product document, you should make your own on a computer, print it out, and carry it with you just in case.
