Pretty similar to the timings we had on EK 205/206 DXB-HAM-JFK-HAM-DXB.
I hope it works better for Milan this time. For HAM it was destined to fail for several reasons:
1. The DXB-HAM-DXB segment used to have good loads, hence not that many full way seats available
2. direct flights leaving at about the same time, saving the stop
3. very poor loads for the HAM-JFK-HAM segment with no Hub on either end and Continental (now United/codeshare Lufthansa) flying HAM-EWR, providing connections in EWR combined with far better timings
Seems like these reasons will be met again, all are true of the new MXP flight as well as the HAM flight that was cancelled.
