You should have until midnight of the following day to cancel without penalty. So in reality it is up 47 hour cancellation policy.

That said I would keep the flight as booked. You may have a schedule change, there may be mechanical issues that cause the flight to cancel or weather. All of which could entitle you to a full refund.

But since you have already put in for a refund request I don't know if that will cause an automatic cancellation.
