Avios is probably the best short haul programme on the planet and probably the worst long haul programme as well.
Economy travel is a waste of time long haul and shocking value for money. If you can get F/J and especially F/J on a 241 voucher then they offer good value but it is simply too difficult to get them and availability has deteriorated significantly in the last 4 years
