I have never stayed in a Starwood hotel-- I know that under their terms and conditions, members who are "inactive" for 12 months may have their memberships terminated and StarPoints forfeited. And it does state that transfers from other programs do not count toward "active" status.

Does anyone know what exactly does count? For example, what about charges to the no-annual-fee American Express Sheraton/Starwood card?
