Hi all - travelling to Japan with my 4 year old later this year. I would really like to spend at least a night in a high end ryokan. I realise that it's not an ideal experience with a child but I don't have much choice. It's very hard to get information but children (unsurprisingly) do not seem welcome in most of the top drawer ryokan. I don't want to disturb other guests but if there is anywhere that might suit I would like to explore it. Gora Kadan might be an option - does anyone have any other suggestions? Tokyo, Kyoto or anywhere in between....thankyou!
