It seems there are a lot of people with a lot of great information about the topic I 'm interested in, so I would like to ask for your help.
I'll be going to the US for 3 months with a working J1 VISA. I'll be working at a camp, and I'd like to buy a car for the time I'm there. One of my friends will buy a car and fix it up for me (he has been doing this for years) around $500. I'll be staying at the camp for almost the whole time, am I right that this will count as a permanent address? Oh and this is in PA. I have a drivers license for 6 years now, without accidents, but I guess this wont count. In your opinion would it be possible for me to register a car to my name, and if it is, what do you think how much would insurance cost for the 3 months. (After cam my friend will sell the car with a nice profit, I get the money I bought it, and he'll get the profit, so there is no problem with that)
