In my experience, TG are the best airline around when it comes to showing luggage flexibility - both checked luggage and carryon.

If it was TG staff checking you in (esp if you were in BKK), I would say no problem. However, I am pretty sure they'll be using contract staff in OSL and they may be a bit more strict.

Are you *A Gold by any chance? Doesn't that confer an extra 20k?

Generally I try to avoid checked luggage, and my best ever carry-on performance included five big pieces... see here... why I like TG!
