Hi all,

This weekend I'm flying to Thailand via Kuala Lumpur: CPH-DXB-KUL-HKT. It is all in one ticket, issued by Emirates. CPH-DXB-KUL is operated by Emirates, and the KUL-HKT sector by Malaysia Airlines.

When I check-in at CPH airport, they will give me the boarding cards for CPH-DXB-KUL, but not the KUL-HKT; my luggage will be sent all the way to HKT.

I believe the Emirates flight arrives at KUL Satellite terminal, and the Malaysia Airlines flight departs the Satellite terminal.

The question is: if I check in online for the KUL-HKT flight, do I need to clear immingration and customers in KUL? If I don't check-in online, I'd have to go to landside and check-in there, but if I check-in online, can I just stay at the airside area? I only have 1 hour 30 minutes to connect flights so I'd rather just stay at the terminals.

Can anyone confirm if both flights will be arriving to / departing from the Satellite terminal?
