1 RC or S-La Valley Wing. I really don't like the position of the FS unless you want to be close to the shopping in Orchard Road - the champagne brunch on Sundays is great though. The Marina Bay location is better for views.

2 The Pen or somewhere else on the Bund. My main problem with the Pen is that there is no comfortable seating in the lobby - only the tables where they serve breakfast and afternoon tea - I like to sit and people watch and it's not possible there. I also didn't think that the service was that great - we were on a Virtuoso booking and I had to fight to get an upgrade - which they eventually gave. Also no knowledge of the amenity - I had to show the print out of my reservation. If you don't mind chain hotels - the JW Marriott at People Square is very comfortable and the club lounge was a godsend when we were suffering from jet lag for the first 3 days!

3 I like the Oriental or the S-La Krungthep wing.

6 Agree with SD1K - definitely the Mount Nelson - no problems with my Virtuoso booking there!
