It is most assuredly NOT seperate from HH, as HH licensed the AXON awards and sanctioned them to Amex. That being said, HH has COMPLETE autonomy on what to do with them. Call you friendly Amex CSR and they'll inform you just how much they are aware of the HH program details.
That may be so, but nevertheless, it is a perk of holding the credit card and is not open to all those who are members of HHonors -- though many may have said that they hold the card and did not.
Needless to say, we will have to wait and see what develops as HHonors with AMEX's approval did away with the bonus for Intercom and Drug Store spend, so no one really knows what the future is for AXON.
