Welcome to FlyerTalk.

Have you check how much those flights will cost you if you to purchase one? For example, I was searching for CDG, PRG, and BUD and found for ~$220 (CAD), I can get from CDG-BUD then BUD-PRG. But it will be ~$450 (CAD) if I just go from CDG-BUD or CDG-PRG.

If I used my Aeroplan points, they wants ~$150 (CAD) for all the surchange (well, AP is known for its high surcharge)

I would play with options on Expedia or other travel web site and see what options you have.

I am not sure where you are based at, AMEX Canada has the "TripFlex" reward option where 1 MR = $0.01 (CAD), so if I use the above as an example, I can use 22K MR to pay for the ~$220 CAD to pay for the flight. In comparison, I can convert 20K MR to AEROPLAN and pay ~$150 CAD surcharges. As you can see, using 22K MR will be must better option.
