Oh, come on dinoscool3. My beef with UA goes beyond this one flight. My biggest beef that night was catering. The gate agent was just an idiot. All airlines have a few bad apples. But UA management, the same one that have decided that elites are "over-entitled" and no longer important, has made a decision to serve "garbage" on most of its flights. This one happened to be a three hour version. See below for what a much better airline serves on the same route.
I said that snack box was bad, not enough for 3 hours. (Though I wish to point out that this has more to do with the
old management than the current one, given the time I'm sure RJ F service will go up). I also never said that UA is better than AC, I'd consider AC the best North American carrier. My gripe is your use of hyperbole to describe UA as "the worst carrier on earth" when there are airlines like Spirit, Ryanair, Air Asia, and even airlines like US. I'd never expect hyperbole in one of your trip reports, if you had presented a fair but critical report of this flight I would not have minded and respected your opinion.
