You would be surprised at the elite level that makes a lot of those complaints and wanting compensation. There was a thread earlier today i think, a 1K was asking if he should ask for compensation because they ran out of vodka from the previous flight and had not restocked the plane for their flight. Nothing surprises me anymore with regards to what is being asked for and who asks for it.
I wonder if that was one of my dad's neighbors. She refused to evacuate her house during Sandy because they wouldn't let her take her vodka to the shelter. The fire department had to go in after the flooding started and take her to the shelter. She of course screamed that they were hurting her as they were carrying her out.
