So on the assumption that I cannot check the bag through OZ to CX, and I have to pick up my bag in HKG, then how will the HKG connection process work on 2 separate tickets? Is there a CX transfer desk after I pick up my bags so I don't have to exit/re-clear security? 2h10m connection time enough? Always good to contingency plan.
If OZ checks through; no problem at all as indicated by SeeBuyFly
If OZ doesn`t check through; pass through immigration pick up your bags, go to departure level and check in again with CX, you should have plenty of time to complete this process too if OZ flies on time (and even with some delay)
