On a related note, some folks who live nearby have the following in-sequence (ie. not vanity) plates:
787JET and TWA747
and they are likely unaware of the 'significance' (or don't care).

My truck has 2 letters which are an airline code + 4 digits but it doesn't seem to be a valid flight number. Others' plates will be.

Isn't this all a bit Rain Man-ish?
