I assumed that since the CX reservation is a completely separate ticket, OZ will not check my luggage at JFK thru to SIN. I didn't think that OZ and CX are partner airlines and not in same alliance, so I doubt that OZ will check my bag through to a CX flight on a separate ticket. Is that not that case?
