The crosswind landing limits are fairly similar between the A320, 737-700, and the E190. There are some variations but demonstrated limits are in the low-to-mid 30 knot range. I noticed that WS had cancelled a bunch of flights early last week as well when AC was getting in and out. I'd find it hard to believe but perhaps the difference lies in how many Cat III aircraft WS has (and qualified pilots) vs AC?
