Slightly OT: BA to Roland Garros

Dear FT experts

Managed with a few friends to get tickets for this year’s French Open in tennis at Roland Garros (named after a fighter pilot).

I have never been to Paris (once at CDG). I just wonder a few things. I have booked the late BA Friday night flight in May to CDG.

1) Since the flight get in so late, is it better to stay near the airport during the first night? Any recommendation of a cheap hotel?

2) For the rest of our stay a few more friends are going to join us and we are looking for a hotel that costs less than £100 per night. Any experience of hotels that makes it convenient for the tennis and sightseeing?

Thanks for any input
