Very early memory, I must have been about 10-11 years old, traveling as a UM on LHR-LCA.

Got handed over to the lovely BA lady at check in and taken straight to the lounge!

Free sandwiches and crisps, woohoo!

Then on the plane (Tristar) got seated (I think) in 1A (must have been an upgrade as I doubt my parents would have paid for Club), next to an older gentleman, dressed in a very nice suit.

This was back in the days when you could still smoke on airplanes, and during the flight the man looked over at me and offered me a cigarette and that was the first time I ever smoked!
