I was not sure whether to start a new thread: I just noticed a change in my checked baggage allowance on my upcoming trip MOD-SFO-FRA-TLS (and back) in Y; FRA-TLS is a codeshare segment on LH. When I originally booked the itinerary on 1/11, the confirmation stated that I was allowed free 1st and 2nd bag up to 70 lbs. Now, I am allowed free 1st and 2nd bag on the outbound, up to 70 lbs; on the return, 1st is free up to 50 lbs, 2nd is $100 up to 50 lbs. That's a change that I don't like at all: if I need to check two bags out, there is a really good chance that I will come back with two bags as well! I assume it's because I'll check in with LH first on the return, but what a way to thank a Premier Plat/MM/Star Gold for their loyalty :-(
