I would say that my most exciting BA experience was when during a LHR-SEA in CW with the old cradle seats I was permitted to visit the flight deck!

We were somewhere over the ice and the Captain explained the great circle concept to me, showing a chart of the course they were following.

This was in 1996 and I was 14.
