I actually fear this happening, thinking since I fly a lot it may well happen eventually. Sorry, but there is NO WAY that I will accept being held hostage for 8 hours on the tarmac. This is unconscionable and I am surprised it is even legal. They really would have to duct tape my mouth to shut me up.

Which of course raises the question if they can get stairs there for medics how is it not possible to get stairs there to release the captives?
