Thanks for the help. We've added a night at Kings Canyon. There are three places to stay.
- Kings Canyon Resort
- Kings Canyon Station
- Kings Creek Wilderness Lodge
I've eliminated the third, as it is luxe prices for an experience many say is not.
Re one and two,
Kings Canyon Resort appears to be a motel with 120 units. Rooms look fairly typical of anywhere in the world, with the difference being the stunning views for some of the units.
Kings Canyon Station is intriguing as it offers permanent tents on Australia's largest camel station. However, the tents do not have en suite facilities nor do they appear to have air conditioning.
It appears that wherever we stay we eat.
Has anyone stayed at either property and what did you think? We will be going the end of April. Is the lack of air conditioning a deal breaker for the camel station?
