Poking around in AA forum it has already been said that the new merger will use the AA FFP as basis for migration. So expect a huge increase in the numbers of overall AA EXP and PLA, which means, an increase in CX F and J lounge users.
But all in all, I doubt a huge lot of those US members would fly to Asia.. Chances are they'd be UA members. Maybe CDG, LHR and maybe another few lounges could become a bit more crowded but I can't see it affecting the rest of the network significantly..
