AA does not put "Fragile" stickers on your bags either. But BA might and so via LHR. But still if its that fragile, I wouldn't risk it. Baggage handlers may be gentle but arriving in LAX might see your bags get banged up even more when handlers take your bags.

I've had baggage become mangled at LAX more often than they have been anywhere else in the world!
