I'm not sure if bahn.de has an automated system to inform you when bookings open - and even if it did, I suspect it would just report the normal 90 day booking window, and not when the CNL services to Italy actually become available.

You may wish to contact CityNightLine directly, and ask if they can give some indication of when they expect the post-7th April trains to go on sale.

This is difficult to say, as it relies on so many different factors. Not least, there are (presumably) two different quotas at play - the number of Europa-Spezial tickets being sold for that train, and the number of berths actually left for sale (and as there are, I think, only 2-3 deluxe compartments in the sleeper carriage, these could sell out very quickly).

For example, looking a couple of weeks from now, there are still 2nd class Europa-Spezial fares available; but the only availability in the deluxe compartments is as NormalPreis fares.

It also depends on whether you're looking at a peak travel day (eg: Friday) or a less busy time (eg: mid-week); and whether you have any flexibility in your travel dates.

I am fairly sure that I have seen "quickly" be anything from 'minutes' to 'months'....
