If you have UA miles it would be super easy for you to trade for Avios on CC. Your United miles are more valuable than anything else....it's only 12.5K Avios for a coach

However you are correct that it's still an awesome price for actually visiting IPC. I'm doing one visit and two other quick turns. Might as well get the value out of my reciprocity fee!! I need a new passport too, so it'll be good for ten years.
