Best to allow 2-1/2 hour for xfr from Int'l to Domestic at IST:

1. Your flight may arrive late

2. You must buy a visa (CASH ONLY!) Should be quick if you have cash.

3. Passport control: what if you arrive just after a 747 or 380?

4. Baggage claim and Customs are quick (cheap Duty Free in Baggage Claim!)

5. Allow 15 minutes for the walk from Int'l to Domestic

6. FULL SECURITY CHECK just to get into the Domestic Terminal

7. Get to check-in at least 40 minutes before departure

8. Another FULL SECURITY CHECK to enter gate area.

1-1/2 hours is chancy, 2 hours is minimal.
