Thanks, this is good to know and perfectly sensible. Fortunately one segment was unreserved, and the reserved segment fare did not increase from the previous YD bucket. (By the way, it's too bad from a transparency/accounting standpoint that the underlying fare bucket and basis are masked on eTickets as far as I can tell.)
