I know this is the rule, but I was sitting in the AA Ambassador's Club in JFK the other day and most AA EXPs around me expected there to be a list in operation to fill up the cabin. In the end I don't think they did it for Y-> J, but I believe a number of people got J ->F upgrades, but I may have misunderstood...
