Another one in the potential destinations from Lima - it is reported that Qatar Airways is considering to fly to Lima.

In a way it would make sense, with the Middle Eastern airlines opening uo South American routes (some already do GRU and EZE, and Iran Air used to fly a highly dubious THR-CCS), so LIM is a logical next. And QR will join oneworld, opening up connections from LIM.

But I'm not sure the 140 Peruvians living in Doha are going to make the service viable.
