My KLM midnight (23.59) flight to Schipol was cancelled last night (14th Feb) due to the planes aircon system not working, we all sat on the plane for 5 hours eventually disembarking again at around 4.00am, retrieving our luggage and being told to report back in the evening for the next midnight flight, a 24hour delay. Big problem as I was not put in a hotel or given any meal/drink vouchers and my partner had to drive 3 hours back to the airport to pick me up and must then take me back again tonight to drop me off. Would I be entitled to any compensation from KLM as I am losing a day from my overseas family visit

, the costs of being fetched and dropped off again and my partner losing a day's work chauffering me back and forth.
