Maybe the F cabin was filling up at those prices, so they decided that the market will bear a higher price? I missed my first upgrade ever on ORD-MIA in December. For an MIA trip next month where I might have been willing to pay for F, the outbound was F2 A0 and the return was F1 A0. I am traveling with several other people, so we're stuck in coach. Yes, I realize it's spring break, but I think it is still part of the same trend.

ORD-LAX/SFO/SAN have skyrocketed and are significantly more than they were recently or last summer for that matter.
Weren't the cheap fares on those routes heavily influenced by VX fare sales?
