I remember in the early 90"s DL used to operate an L-1011-500 LAX-ANC-HKG. Flew it many times including once when the right engine compressor stalled on takeoff from RWY 25R. The pilot made a hard starboard turn, yes INTO the dead engine!! and immediately landed on 6R.^ Total flight time from start of T/O roll til touchdown was under 10 minutes. Still got credited for the full miles: even though was rerouted on UA LAX-SEA, NW SEA ANC.
