My husband is from YVR and we could have lived on the left coast...but the rain would have done me in... As well, the housing prices are stupid. I also think there are many more destinations that are easier to get to from YYZ as compared to YVR. But if you're looking for the mountains and ocean together, there aren't too many choices... If you do move, you won't be alone as there are many, many Ontario transplants in Vancouver...
