So, this "too good to be true" testimony about the Air-Buds does give me pause, but I can set that aside.

My question is how much the Air-Buds protrude from your ears. The reason I use ear buds instead of the over-the-ear noise cancelling is because I like to be able to lay on my side on long-haul flights. Tough to do with big headphones or ear buds that stick out past your ear (Etymotics in particular).
