I purchased a $500 Visa Gift Card at Office Depot wth my Ink Bold in December 2012 and it was never funded. I called the number on the back of the card and they told me to go back to OD. I went to OD and they told me they activated it and that I needed to deal with VGC. After dozens of calls to VGC, sending in info by fax several times (VGC keeps claiming they "did not receive it" or "it came in too light - please re-send" even though I have office depot do all the faxes and I have confirmations), the issue is still not resolved - it's been a night mare trying to get my money back or the gift card funded. Anyone thinking of buying Visa Gift Cards should know that they are a 3rd party supplier (not Visa) and that they are incredibly unresponsive. They have lied to me on many calls saying that I gave them an incorrect number (the number on the fax is correct - the proof is that they did call me back one time to tell me that they still have not resolved the issue), they gave me other incorrect numbers to call, and they have said I would get a phone call within 48 hours (never came). Anyone else have this issue - and if so, what did you do to get it resolved? Any advice would be helpful - thank you!
