Unlike nwa.com and their systems, I understand that Delta didn't have a field for middle name until recently (heck, they didn't even have a field for other FF program), hence their merging your middle initial after your last name. With IT improvements and TSA requirements we are seeing the nasty effects of PMDL's IT limits.
