I had very low expecations before checking in. They were confirmed when I checked in. Given "upgraded" room on high floor with Club access. I could see people in the next building eating lunch. Received a call from the front office who was made aware of my dodgy check-in process. Offered room on high floor with river/garden view. My new room is a picture frame for a perfect view. I think I see water in the distance.

Now if you are going to have a regular room this is pretty ideal. I would say perfect. The only real issue is noise from the hall. You can hear doors slam. The Lounge is a good size and I was remiss going in with shorts on. My bad. Just read the Diamond welcome letter. No one said anything but I only went in to look around. The Hotel is hosting a 200 person conference. That being said the front office has gone out of there way to accomodate me which is appreciated.

As amenity received bottle of Andrew Peace 2012 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and fresh fruit. This is a solid property.
