I really don't care at all about getting bottled water, but at Hilton and Doubletree they're consistently in the room, while the HGI check in clerks consistently offer me two bottles (last time the guy tried to give me an additional two bottles!). I opt for points at Hampton and Homewood, but if those are the properties that are getting to you, ask at check-in about it.
