SFO-ICN lands at 4:15pm in ICN, then Asiana ICN-CEB is at 8:20pm, landing at 11:55pm
CEB-ICN is at 1am (ouch!) landing at 6:20am , then ICN-SFO isn't till 5:10pm.
Two questions: How is Asiana Business class on this route? They're flying an Airbus 321.
2nd: any suggestions on what to do for the 11 hour layover in Seoul? Do I need a visa for the day transit if I want to leave the airport?
1) Expect domestic first seats, and a full dinner with appetizer, salad, main, dessert and cheese.
2) US Citizens and permanent residents don't need a visa. If you're up for it, the DMZ tour is pretty cool. There's also an airside hotel that while pricey, would be a worthwhile place to crash after your redeye.
