I would say to just give them a call. I had no problem switching from the old UA Access card to the Explorer card.

When I called I asked about switching to something other than a UA card and was told you could only switch between any of the UA cards.

You can even move credit lines around from ANY Chase card very easy. Every time I've called they've been very helpful and very quick.
